GCSE Results Day 2024: Where to get free food and discounts across the UK

After all the hard work, GCSE students deserve to celebrate their achievements - and there's no shortage of deals across the UK available today. To snag these offers, students must present a copy of their results at the participating restaurants.

Some offers may require a bit of planning, so it's best to check the terms and conditions on each establishment's website. Here's a brief rundown of some of the deals open to all students, regardless of whether they're celebrating or commiserating their grades, reports the Express:

TGI Friday's:

By signing up for their free rewards program (Stripes), students can receive a 24% discount on their bill at TGI Friday's. You'll need to show your results - either paper or electronic alongside this.

Nando's:

If you spend over £7, you're entitled to a free quarter chicken or starter. Results also have to be shown but these can be email, text or the paper version.

Frankie & Benny's:

The first 50 students to arrive at any branch with their results in hand will be treated to a free pizza, provided they purchase a large soft drink. A limited-time offer allows students to claim a free Margherita or Pepperoni pizza. To ensure you don't miss out, inform your server when ordering and again when requesting the bill.

Chiquito:

For the first 50 individuals who present their results, the chain is offering a complimentary portion of loaded nachos with any soft drink purchase.

Las Iguanas:

Students can enjoy a free portion of nachos, usually priced at £6, at Las Iguanas on results day. To avail of this offer, you'll need to present your GCSE results certificate.

Bill's:

Those who received their results today (August 22, 2024) can claim a free dessert at any chain, provided they have purchased a main meal first.

Bella Italia:

Students presenting their results can receive a 30% discount on their final bill. However, to avail of this discount, you'll need to complete an online form (linked here) beforehand and then present a code you receive from that along with a copy of your GCSE results.
